You work within a project organisation and are involved in drawing up, following up or assessing schedules. How does this enable a project to be controlled and steered within the preconditions of scope, time and cost? You not only learn to use the planning application to make a good planning, but you also learn to fully understand it so that you are never faced with surprises. You will also learn which KPIs, reports and dashboards you can use to report effectively to your project stakeholders. You learn to create insight into the actual progress and forecast of the project portfolio, for example with Earned Value techniques. These and many other topics are covered in our Scheduling Engineer training programme.
The Scheduling Engineer course starts several times a year. The training days can be followed in a few months or even over a longer period. The starting date is the first possibility to start this training. After enrolment you will be contacted personally to agree on further dates.
This training is the perfect basis for every scheduler and is concluded with the Project Scheduling Game, which is offered to you for free. The Project Scheduling Game is a fun and educational day, where your insight into scheduling is put to the test in several rounds. Would you like to deepen your knowledge of the tooling and knowledge areas of this field after this course? Then take a look at the Senior Scheduling Engineer course.
This programme is followed by, among others, scheduling specialists, scheduling engineers, integrated planners, operational planners, planning consultants, project assistants, project support officers, shutdown coordinators, turnaround schedulers, bid/tender planners, work planners, planning & control engineers, portfolio planners, project analysts and strategic planners.
The cost (and lead time) of the programme depends on the chosen tooling.
